If you're not already using task and team management tools, I strongly recommend starting to use one today, even if your team consists only of you.
The main reason for this recommendation is that as entrepreneurs, our minds are constantly filled with ideas, tasks we want to do, things we need to check, and changes we need to make. If we leave everything in our heads, one of two things happens:
We forget about it.
We remember everything, but our minds get cluttered, leaving no room to think about new ideas.
So, instead of keeping everything in your head, write down the idea or task, assign a deadline for task completion (or delegate it to a virtual assistant), and free up your mind to think about other things.
There are numerous tools for task and team management, and I have no doubt that everyone can connect with a tool or another method. After evaluating nearly all the tools on the market, the one I connected with the most and use regularly is Asana.
Asana is a tool that allows you to create tasks by projects and sub-projects, set up recurring tasks at various intervals (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.), and manage your team in the most efficient way.
For example, I currently have 134 tasks in Asana related to various projects and another 87 tasks assigned to my virtual assistant. Some of them are recurring tasks, and some are one-time tasks.
If I had to remember all these tasks in my head or manage them through sticky notes or notebooks, it's reasonable to assume that many of them would go uncompleted.
