Managing campaigns through an Excel file used to be a task reserved for Excel enthusiasts, resulting in complicated files. As a result, most Amazon sellers abandoned this method and shifted to using external tools or manual management within Amazon.
However, Amazon recently updated the Bulk Operations system, making it much more user-friendly and allowing for more options than simple keyword management. With the new management file, you can do the following:
Change campaign and ad group names to create uniformity among campaigns.
Modify bids manually.
Add negative keywords.
Add or remove products or keywords to/from the targeting.
These changes apply to all types of campaigns: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
I highly recommend that those who haven't tried it before give it a go at least once. Many of you may find that it's easier and faster to work with campaigns this way.
To access it, go to Campaign Manager, Sponsored Ads, and then Bulk Operations.
I'll also update you that starting this week, the tip will switch to a weekly format, with a new tip every Sunday. I have several reasons for this change, and I'll reveal some of them soon.
Have a wonderful week!
